Bodywork restoration:

The bodywork was in very good condition before the overhaul (unwelded, accident- and corrosion-free) and was therefore an ideal starting point for a high-quality restoration.

The following work was carried out:

• All-round bodywork stripped of paint using glass bead/plastic blasting
• Underbody dry ice blasted
• Lacquer structure

General overhaul of engine/transmission:

Motor

This 930 was delivered from the factory with the 930/66 engine variant. The original engine is installed in the vehicle (matching). As part of the restoration, the original 4-pipe exhaust system of the 930 factory performance upgrade (WLS) was installed. This could also be ordered separately from Porsche Exclusive for vehicles without a performance upgrade.

The engine of this 3.3 Turbo has been completely overhauled. Great importance was attached to reusing as many original parts as possible:

• Turbocharger
• Cylinder set
• Pistons, piston rings
• Connecting rod, connecting rod bearing
• Crankshaft bearing
• Bearing shells
• Seals
• etc.

Gearbox

• New gearbox bell housing installed - gearbox not matching
• Renewal or overhaul of all components such as main bearings, fixed/shifting gears, synchronizer rings, seals and much more.
• Replacement clutch kit
• etc.

Chassis:

All chassis parts were replaced in the course of the restoration or overhauled to factory specification. All wearing parts, such as

• Control arm
• Shock absorber
• Tie rods
• Rear axle struts
• etc.

were renewed.

Interior restoration:

Entgegen des Auslieferungszustands mit schwarzen Vollleder wurde die Innenausstattung passend zur Paint to Sample Exterieurfarbe “Preußischblau Metallic” in Hellgrau gesattelt. Um die Originaltät zu wahren, wurden zeitgenössische Teppiche im originalgetreuen Flor in derselben Farbe verbaut. Diese Farbkombination war ab Werk lieferbar.

• Seats upholstered in genuine light gray leather
• Rear seat backrest in original light gray carpet
• Dashboard in light gray genuine leather
• Steering wheel in genuine leather light gray
• Light gray carpets true to the original
• etc.
