Overview
This 964 RS was first delivered in January 1992 as a factory delivery on behalf of the Porsche Center Stuttgart. The extensive conversion was carried out in 2004 by the company 1&1 Uhrwerk for the then company owner using original Porsche parts. Instead of the original rear spoiler, an aftermarket spoiler was installed, which according to the previous owner was due to its lower weight.
The conversion was recorded with extensive photo documentation. The modification of the RS engine from 3.6 to 3.8 liters was carried out by Roock Sportsystem GmbH. The pistons and cylinders used were identical to those used by Porsche for the original 964 RS 3.8. A performance diagram showing an engine output of just under 360 hp is available. The speedometer was zeroed in the course of the conversion and around 10,000 km have been driven since then.
We have the birth certificate of the vehicle, which confirms that it is an original 964 RS in Grand Prix White with German first delivery. It is worth mentioning that Porsche only built 55 original 964 RS 3.8s, which are currently being traded for around 1.5 million euros.
The conversions are registered, an individual approval according to §21 is available.
We have decided to offer this vehicle despite the conversion, as the work was carried out with the utmost attention to detail and in line with the specifications of the original. It offers a unique opportunity to enjoy the incomparable charm and impressive performance of this legendary model - and at a much more attractive price.
History
We are pleased to present this rebuilt 964 RS with conversion to the coveted RS 3.8 technology. The conversion impresses with its originality and attention to detail, as it was carried out using an original Porsche 964 RS and original Porsche parts. As with the original, the 964 RS engine was bored out from 3.6 to 3.8 liters. The rebuild is comprehensively documented with pictures and invoices. The vehicle has a total mileage of approx. 89,000 km, of which around 10,000 km have been covered since the conversion. The original service booklet and vehicle registration documents are fully available and the vehicle was originally delivered in Germany. We look forward to hearing from you.
